I'd like to take you along with me to see a little more of my past and how I became the person that I am to this day. Saying goodbye to the past is bittersweet, but looking back I never would have imagined what God had in store for my life!

My mother sold my childhood home 4 years ago, I totally get it .we were in a little neighborhood about 3 miles from the town limit with a creek and a dead end road. The buyer is married to a childhood friend of mine so I know it's cared for.
Cherish your memories

I remember taking my 2 year old daughter to visit my childhood home, and I was going to set her on the steps to take a pic. When I pulled up the house was gone! I remember this gut punch feeling and I just sat there and cried. If we have wonderful memories of our childhood places, it is so hard to say goodbye

The older I get the more "goodbyes" I have. Never easy, but with each one of them comes a flood of memories that turn the tears into smiles. That childhood home is in your heart and will remain there forever as the people and pets that have passed on from our lives. ALWAYS in your

Kaylee, I feel like this particular video hits home on the most universally visceral human level for every single viewer of yours. There are very few words to describe that emotional bond of memories so deeply woven into the fabric of our childhood yet somehow you fully communicate it here. I truly admire your gift of eloquently translating your heart and soul into words. You are a beautiful person for documenting this and sharing it with us! Thank you for your content!!

Such a beautiful place perfect for children to roam and explore. Me and my brother stayed in the woods just like you described. I understand the feelings coming over you. Keep up the good work and God bless you all

Always sad to say goodbye to our childhood homes or grandparents homes after they some pictures before you walk out one last time and use them later to remind you of all the good times.

When my father passed my older brother inherited the 29 acres with the house. We repaired what it needed and rented the house on .63 of the land. I can't imagine not having it since we too were feral children. We roamed the pastures and woods, playing in the creek or saddling up a horse and riding over the neighboring farmlands and woods down to the Yadkin River. Only coming home near dusk. I think more children should have had that freedom. It was a wonderful way to grow up and one this last generation should have had. Memories are always with us even if the physical things have passed away! Bless you Kaylee as you say goodbye to the physical presence of your past. Hold onto that wonderful mother and father you still have for as long as they are with you and you still hold onto the best of you! 💕💕🙏🙏

such memories. The one home I lived in for 5 years was way back off the road. It had an old milk barn that my siblings and I loved playing in. Also we always would go hiking and camping there. There were vines hanging from trees that we loved swinging on. The home was 100 years old so eventually they torn it down. 😪 It was my grandparents that hit me the hardest. Every holiday was spent there. After I moved away and started my own family, I would visit. Then my grandpa passed away and several years later my grandmother sold it. A small group used it as a church. Several years passed and I went to visit and they had just torn it down. I sat in my car and bawled my eyes out. The last time I visited, they had build a church there.
My grandparents would had been proud to know it became a church.

I still drive by my childhood home every now and then and remember so many good times. We would run across the street and go into the woods, play in the creek, get salamanders, get crawfish. . Such good memories. Thanks for sharing Kaylee. .

Love this Kaylee! So many kids these days don't get to experience the joy of the outdoors. Which is sad. The world would be a better place if everyone would look at Gods creation with the same love!

I'd dig up a plant of some kind. Maybe a small tree. And take it with me. Plant it at your house. Bring the spirit of that house with you

Beautiful memories and home!! Although I grew up in the city, we were wild children and had a huge park along the Mississippi River so we roamed! I loved exploring...still do! My dad would whistle very load and that was our que to get home (as well as the street lights coming on). You should put the listing here...I'm sure it will sell quickly!!

💚 I'm laying here, on my airbed, in the totally empty house my parents have had for 45+ years. Tonight will be the very last night I'll ever sleep in this house. Although I was 17 when we moved in, and wasn't happy about it at the time, I've been surprised at how emotionall I've felt about saying goodbye to this place and all the memories made here. Your vlog really hit home with me this morning. Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful home and forested mountain you were able to experience growing up. 💚
