Sounds like you may have to go to Home Depot and find some bolts that you can use. Usually the TV comes with four of them. Good luck thanks for watching.

My tv says to use bolts from 18-20mm and my mounting kit came with 15 or 35mm. When I put the 20mm in it doesn’t feel like it gets to the back of the threading in the tv, but the 35mm stick outs far. I do have the option to use spacers, but which is better? The shorter screw without spacers or the one that sticks out farther with a spacer?

Mine says use spacers but it forces the brackets to stick out by about 2cms 🤦🏼‍♀️

Why is this so difficult. The manual is HORRIBLE.
