Yeap, UN calculated 13, 7% raise on carbon emission by 2030 under current pledges... Also current pledges takes us to 2, 4 - 2, 7C, or way over that when army emissions and tipping points are added. It is very clear that COP26 and 25 COP's before it are just BLA BLA BLA.

Let's hope that some real advancements can be made when USA and China negotiates. Total moratorium to coal burning is needed asap (hoping before 2030).

After coal burning is made to stop then we must not rely on natural gas (methane) nor on ANY fossil burning. There is not a single mention of gas/methane and oil on COP26's draft papers. This means this COP is NOT GOING TO REDUCE main greenhouse gas producers.

Adding enough renewables (wind, solar, geothermal, ... and batteries, heat transformers, pumps to hydro reserves, ...) and getting rid off all fossil burning (by ~2040) is a must, if we want to stay under 2, 0C.
