Native pittsburgher here. This is absolutely true! Also, The guy isn't actually a security guard he is a local legend that went by the name Kung Fu Joe. Joe passed on about a year and a half ago. He was a beloved fixture of the Pittsburgh South Side (where this "Burger King" was/is located).

I went there one night and grabbed some food. They told me they ran out of burgers so they had to hand make mine. Took them around 45 mins to give me my food. I only order a single whopper an fries. They gave me 9 double whoopers in this big ass bag no fries and turned the lights off😂😂. I don’t think anybody in the drive-thru behind me got food.

We had a Burger Palace in my town when I was a kid and it was a complete rip-off of BK right down to the free paper crowns that kids would put on their heads.
