Nice, you can get the same effect of using a blow dryer set at medium heat. With out adding any moisture to the carpet.

I use this method every time I buy a new rug. The tape even works well over carpeted floors as well. I like area rugs on carpet, too.

Another trick that works well is to lay the rug outside in the sun and let they sun do the work. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. Only takes an hr or so.

I don't know if this was already said, but looks like a job for a steam mop to do it! It has the cloth over the mop head already and the steam will take care of the wrinkles!
