I help street dogs who tend not to drink much water - so I add it to their kibble & let it sit a few minutes to soften the food a bit & so far it's always worked

Did you know you can add water to kibble so its easier for the dog to eat? Also this crazy thing called a bowl of water can help!

i agree with you on feeding raw but ngl if your main concern is moisture just put broth in kibble or water

Have you ever taken a cup of dry dog food and put 2 cups of water in it? It doubles in size, I bet that feels great in the gut. Dry food is for the convenience of the owner, not for the health of the dog. At the very least, soak dry food until it takes up all the water before feeding.

We use kibble but we put boiling water on it and wait a bit so that it absorbs it and is better for them

Wait but is hydrating your dog’s kibble necessary better for the dog? Also how much water do you use? I want my dog to live as long as possible but he gets sick every time I hydrate his food for some reason. 😢

Fresh food are also very expensive. It was costing me $200 a week. Couldn't keep that up. Kibble it is. Water exists independently of dog food.

Feeding my tiny dog freezdried would be more expensive than feeding a grown man.... it's ridiculously over priced.

And you can also buy toppers my dog has a pumpkin one which also helps with his gut/stomach health

They are! I make my pupper's food. It's more expensive but the dry food nonsene is death in a bag. chicken livers, organ meats feet many recipies online. make sure they are blessed by a pet nutritionist.

I am not giving hate here this is only a warning for those who love their fur babies ..the brand Stella and chewy lamb flavor dinner almost killed my dog ! he ended up in hospital he was being fed another freeze dry brand and just frozen cooked and or raw meat we made him ..we switched to this brand gradually he loved the taste he’s super picky so that was great we thought over a week went by started having stomach issues took to the vet was told it was just new adjustment..then two weeks 3rd week he landed into the hospital and several rough days to follow thinking he wouldn’t make it it took many test and doctors appts to discover a trace of poison they couldn’t detect at first ..I went to a separate lab had the food tested (as it was only new thing in his diet or environment )traces of the same poison to dogs not to humans which is odd, was in this brand ! it was the lamb we also had another flavor it was not in to be fair, but just so others know.. pet parents that care please be so careful with pet food my baby is okay thanks to many prayers but it was such a scary time to do not wish on anyone

Did u know if u add water on dry kibble and after 10 min kibble soak the water and becomes more bigger like 'orbes '

I just put water in my dogs food i put it in his dry food in fill it with water and give it go him because he is old and his food needs to be soft so i use water and he drinks then eats it i fill it up way to much so he gets alot of water ive spilt his food with yhe amount of water ive used before.

Doesnt most of what you suggested have salt??? I make my dogs food. I keep the chicken broth from cooking and use it to pour over the chicken and to cook their veggies
