Computers and inverters are two items that, in my experience, sometimes need to be maintained or replaced. I have seen no data on the cost of replacement of either of these two major items for an out-of-warranty EV. For example, if I bought a used EV and the inverter popped a power transistor, could it be repaired at a reasonable rate or would it be time to scrap the car?
