It would be biologically impossible for any living creature to grow anywhere near as large as Godzilla. Here are some of the reasons why.

They can't exist in real life but they exist in our heart

This reminds me of an annotated edition of Johnathan Swift’s novel Gulliver’s Travels edited and annotated by famed science fiction writer Issac Asimov in which he went over the reasons why a race of giants like the Brobdingnagians couldn’t exist, having to consume an immeasurable amount of Oxygen to stay alive, weight distribution, the impact their food consumption etc, and explaining how a giant Brobdingnagian eagle which features in the novel would be unable to fly in real life due to it’s weight etc.
But Asimov did preface these criticisms with a
“Not that I want to spoil anyone’s fun.” 😊
Which kept him from being a a complete spoil sport stickler when he went over the book.

I like how some of the modern Godzilla films and anime try to find ways to explain him. Like in Shin Godzilla them saying that he has a natural cooling system that's pretty much his blood and why he mostly in the ocean for that reason. plus why he doesn't need food or oxygen to live because of a unknown isotope created in his mutant DNA. Also most of these movies talk about how his cells have a massive restorative application that not only helps him alot, but can be great boon for all mankind if we can learn how to use it. In Godzilla Earth anime they just say everything about science says Godzilla shouldn't exist but he does, that he is beyond modern science they had. Hell in movie they straight up say "Godzilla has a science-fiction like body with abilities that don't make sense" incredibly 4th wall breaking.

One reason Godzilla might exist in The Real World.

Life finds a way.

BAZING-GA lol.

Shin Godzilla has the best chance to live in real life. Besides his beams and evolution factor, his Form 4 has the legs big enough to support his weight on land.

You know, the Evolution did a Tons of crazy stuff over the History of Earth. so I won't be surprised if it could've do that too.

Godzilla doesn't need to eat anything except radiation

I’m sorry, none of that matters anymore. We got metal balls flying around at Mach 69 defying all the laws of physics. All hands are off the deck, I say anything is possible now.

Godzilla could technically survive underwater, but nowhere else

Godzilla is only possible if designed with specialised materials, would not occur in this universe naturally based off of rules of the known universe.
Well until then, we can always imagine, create, maybe one day a universe could be generated in a simulation that would allow for more flexible ideas.

Never say never! It is believed that the Supersaurus Vivianae was at least 39 meters (117 feet) long and the Argentinosaurus weighed in at around 100 short tons. I realize this is about half to a third of the size of the G-Man. Just pointing out that if it wants, nature will find a way.

As for Godzilla himself, heat is not an issue as he is basically a walking nuclear reactor. He also feeds on radiation which can be found in nature in large quantities. So, he would not require food as we know it to survive. From what Toho Studios has said, the G-Man has a second brain at the base of his tail which helps to send signals faster to different parts of his body. If dinosaurs can get so big, it would not be that much of a stretch to think that something of Godzilla's size could exist. Granted, the oxygen levels in the atmosphere would likely have to be much higher than they are now to accomplish this, but it is theorized that the Earth had a much higher concentration of oxygen back in the day of the day of the dinosaur and that contributed to the larger sizes of the animals living at that time.

Scientists believe that the higher the concentration of oxygen there is in the atmosphere, the larger the animals on the planet will grow. Just my two cents.

Given us with the scientific reasoning facts for why kaijus like Godzilla for example can't exist do to the specific type of facts as been presented with and with each type of Kaijus would need each of the acquirements, while also given to the fact about these massive creature's own anatomy would be unknown to us without any understanding the biological of their own genetic blueprints of the evolutionary path they would take that can make them more unique into their way.

And if they a unique type of lifespan, and they be revered as godlike entities like Mothra for example for certain cultures can may rever herself as a goddess to them and for Godzilla being like a god of natural order & destruction when it comes to the Earth's environment.

Actually Godzilla can exist more than you think. It's all because of gene editing tools like CRISPR. Scientists can create a creature with dna from birds, crocodiles and amphibians. The creatures dna can be edited so that each cell acts like radiation eating bacteria. It's muscles, durability and body fat should be so much that not even missiles can penetrate it. And Godzilla can be of the size of big sauropods or at least the size of Zilla. However Godzilla's hands and feet will be webbed like lizards. It will also stay mostly in water and will occassionally come up on land. It can also have tardigrade dna to make it survive anything. Hell it's body can be made so tough that it can withstand getting bombarded by God particles which will give it it's powers. And it won't need too much food since crocs can live without food for days. And this thing can eat nuclear radiation as it's cells act like radiation eating bacteria as I said earlier. So yeah Godzilla can exist. However he won't be so badass like in the movies.

Realistically, godzilla would be the size of a frog and they would be purely aquatic

I've seen the majority of the Godzilla films. I prefer it when he's the bad guy. This video was done very but honestly left me a little sad. For a moment, I let it damage my silly fantasy world where a kaiju like Godzilla could exist.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in book/film/media: Frozen embryos arriving via comets with regularity from the Kuiper Belt via the Oort Cloud. Embryos of creatures that evolved on a super-earth from the distant past, far away. Think really far. Farther than that. A super-earth that would support their massive size upon reaching adulthood. How they ended up within ice, within comets is some other weird story. Happened a long time ago.

The embryo develops/hatches on a planet with the correct amount of water and proper atmosphere (Earth) according to it's biological evolution, but the mass of the planet is much different. The biological bone matrix evolved efficiently over eons on a higher gravity planet makes the creature move and stand with ease upon the earth. The speed and strength that evolved on a planet with vastly higher gravity would make movement one Earth simple. Lighter, better latticed bones. While more reliance on tendons is needed, the incredible power generated by muscles evolved under such adverse conditions on it's home planet make the creature vastly stronger than anything on earth, even man-made. On it's original planet it evolved a lower metabolism and a keen ability to use solar energy and excess body heat and convert it into hydrogen gas which it periodically vents through it's mouth.

A source of flame or spark is available everywhere, especially it you're meandering though city infrastructure, destroying everything with your massive size. Earth is a giant super market. Then an arcade. Then a hellscape. You flail around the environment, creating havoc and destruction. And then, everything changes. The tiny creatures that have been periodically harassing you has communicated and organized. All those tiny brains united to figure out how to stop something very large, very foreign and destructive. Your kind have never faced such tiny but ferocious adversaries.

Ants don't get to meet whales.
Imagine a fight between ALL the ants on the earth, united, against one whale in a space where the ants are supposed to be.
The kaiju are no match for humanity, united.

Godzilla lives.

You can't tell me this video doesn't exist just so kids aren't scared of godzilla After watching the movie😅

The biology of these creatures is impossible, but it is logical. For them to be able to move or even support their own weight, their flesh must be stronger than steel, their bones harder than diamond... which would account for their insane durability against modern weaponry. As for energy, Ghidorah draws and stores enough atmospheric electricity to power a hurricane, Rodan is literal fire inside, while Godzilla is practically a walking nuclear reactor.

Godzilla can definitely exist in real life if his body is built to withstand gravity and such. I mean, he would have to exist anyway. If Sauropods can exist then and withstand gravity, so could Godzilla. Yes, he is MANY times larger but evolution and adapting is all it takes. There is no evidence that they can’t do that.

heat dissipation is a no-brainer for godzilla, he needs that heat which powers his body along w/ nuclear energy, which we’re abundant in.
