AFC West fans know Derek Carr is legit. Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs fans know he can dunk on them. Now that Derek finally has real weapons around him, it going to get crazy. He's always made average WRs look good, they leave and go get paid and not do shit. That is the Carr effect.

I’ve watched DC since he was drafted in 2014 almost every game live if not I’d watch highlights and film, and currently Carr has the highest comp % in the NFL the last 4 seasons, with average weapons, Waller being the main guy and hunter renfrow took a couple of years to develop, the fact that he’s one of the most accurate QBs today says so much about how skilled he really is, the other QBs below him have had way more talent around them. Also his throws are throws only very accurate QBs can make. I liked how you mentioned the lions game cause that shows you pay attention to football. That was a throw idk if I’ve seen any QB make in a long time. In my opinion and hopefully by the end of this year it is Carr, Rodgers, and Brady with the most accurate arms in the NFL, and really if you look at his plays that’s not far fetch and really some of his incompletions come from him tryna draw a penalty or not trying to force the ball to be picked which is a very smart strategy, Tom Brady does it. Out of those two guys Carr has had less built around him. Hopefully all 3 receivers can stay healthy, cause injuries won’t stop Carr unless it happens to him. Carr is relentless probably one of the most relentless QBs of all time after what happened last season. If Carr, Adams, and Waller stay healthy I can see Carr leading the Raiders to 13-4 or 12-5 winning the AFC west this season. If this defense can be at least top 15ish, Carr will take us possibly to the super bowl. This is really our year with the weapons Carrs needed and hopefully defense so he doesn’t have to come from behind so much. But even if we do I have no doubt he can get it done. Carr for MVP🏴‍☠️

I honestly think a lot of people just don't like Carr because he doesn't act like players do these days. He's not a glory hound, he doesn't wrap his car around telephone poles, isn't hocking products and isn't controversial and because he's a genuinely good dude. He gets blamed for the tram's deficiencies and no credit when they win. Excuses are made for other quarterbacks when their teams aren't winning while Carr gets blamed when the Raiders aren't winning.

Carr is very underrated as a raiders fan i watch him every game. He is underrated athleticly as well he doesn’t run much but he runs a 4.6 that’s not bad for a qb. He has flaws like when his tackles get beat he sometimes just curls up. He fumbles a lot but he has gotten better these past couple of years tho. Hopefully this is his year he deserves it fr

Carr has more comeback wins than any QB in the league, including Tom Brady, and has done that playing only one third the time that Brady has. To say he is clutch is an understatement.

We live near Fresno so we watched the Carr Brothers tear it up @ Fresno State. David unfortunately got drafted to an expansion team and ran for his life the first few seasons.
Derek is a great Quarterback and a GREATER Human being. He’s a franchise guy. It was a dream come true when he went to the Raiders for me. I’ve been a Raider fan for approaching 60 years. Davante Adams was his favorite Target at Fresno State. Hopefully being reunited will be great. I agree Derek has put up numbers to rival Aaron Rodgers in Aaron’s early career.
During the ‘take a knee” era I think some of his receivers were dropping passes on purpose because Derek wouldn’t take a knee. I just want the Raiders and Celtics to win one more Championship each before I go to my reward. Cheers.

I’m an old timer and have been watching football all of my life. I know talent when I see it. As far as the top pure passers of all time, Carr makes the list. They are in no particular order, though you have to put Marino first.
