Anakin vs Dooku on Tatooine [4K HDR] - Star Wars: The Clone Wars Film (2008)

Anakin and Dooku on Tatooine, as seen in the extended 4K HDR Clone Wars 2008 Film Remaster Project, restoring 10 minutes of deleted scenes and fitting 2 more episodes of TCW back into the 2008 film, all in chronological order, making it a much more epic 2.5 hour adventure. The duel has been cut down for this youtube sample to only show you the fight itself, but the original episode content remains intact in the full edit.

I have also reordered the episodes to fit a (mostly) chronological order based on the entire series official order list. This fixes many, many continuity problems for those who get confused when they watch it in viewing order. There are some minor alterations to the official episode order to make these arcs work as films, but any changes to the official chronological order are small (Putting Maul's Season 4 and 5 arcs into a single epic 3 hour cut, moving the lone episode "A Friend in Need" up a bit in the timeline to fit with the Heroes on Both Sides arc. Making Cad Bane's seasons 1-3 arc into a single supercut). The rest of the alterations follow the official continuity order (2 season 1 and 2 episodes are now part of the extended Clone Wars Theatrical Film Cut due to them being part of the Battle of Christophsis, ect. ect.) and greatly enhance the show's viewing experience.

Star Was will always have the BEST music of all time. Even in less known scenes such as this, the soundtrack is stunning.

I see this block at 1:21 so often in lightsaber duels. When the angles and leverage are right it can work.. but there's no way Anakin would stop all that weight from Dooku's pushing halfway his own blade with not much more than his wrist.. Strong with the Force or not, that's just physics.

I think Dooku remembering Tatooine being his home might be a reference to cut dialogue from Revenge of the Sith where he mentions that he was the one who sent the Tuskens to kill his mother.

At this point it was only a few months after Anakin watched his mother die. The wound is still fresh and on top of that he had to come back and face off against the guy that cut off his arm and humiliated him in a fight shortly after. I do not envy Anakin right now.
