[The Last Princess 步云衢] In the early 20th century, people lived in poverty in China. Jin Yurong, who was from a downfallen aristocrat family, aspired to become a doctor to help more people with her skills. She met Zhao Zhengnan, who was from a powerful family and also wanted to help the people. They met each other, got to know each other and fell in love with each other, while trying their best to find the ways to make the world a better place. After going through many hardships, Yurong finally became a doctor and Zhao Zhengnan became a progressive military officer who kept people safe. However, they had to separate from each other due to the storm of the era and in the end, they were far apart from each other. When Yurong fell into the depths of despair, the communism belief lit up her world and she gradually started her new life fighting for the revolution, becoming its invisible guardian. After overcoming danger, Yurong and Zhao Zhengnan finally got married. Being influenced by Yurong, Zhao Zhengnan became a Communist too. They joined hands in the Anti-Japanese War of Resistance and welcomed the new China together.

I completed this drama and thought i should come here and drop a review.
The ml you will love, handsome thoughtful sweet. Everything you expect in a ml. As for the fl...she adopts the same naive, stubborn foolish character that seems to be common in c drama based in this era.
As for the plot....it is similar a recent c drama i think titled the flame in war or something to that effect. A soldier in high position naive fl. Miscarriage Communist, separation. Fl in false marriage for that reason. Memory loss Everyone except the leads survive. To be honest even with that i wouldn't consider it a happy ending. If someone would have dropped a review i would not have watched it. Another thing i find senseless was some red herring characters that didn't serve a purpose. Buri Gude and the crazy friend who was in love with him.
