1985 Honda ATC 110 Carb Clean - 1974 Honda US90 Clean Up

So in the past month or so, I've made some progress on the Daytona Orange 1974 US90 I brought home from the post-SNIRT Barn Find. She's a runner now and has different tires on it and is now up for sale on my Instagram account and on Facebook marketplace. I cleaned the tank on that and cleaned up the carb (which wasn't that dirty)... but the chassis was pretty filthy. I haven't replaced the seat cover, but I'm considering it.

The 1985 ATC110 is cleaning up nicely though! It's purring like a kitten now. We're cleaning up the wheels so they won't be rusty anymore. I'll be wrapping it up in a part 2 video that will post tomorrow night. I go through the carburetor on that one in a lot more detail. My buddy Curtie at 223 Cycles is the go-to guy for carb rebuild kits, so I took one I had in inventory and used it on this machine and it worked wonderfully.

Got a couple of those atcs with balloon tires in excellent shape for sale which I knew how to get rid of them a 74 and a 70 US 90 parrot Green

I'm trying to get a 1985 atc110 running properly. Been through the carb, everything is very clean, but she just wants more fuel on the high end. Anything more than 1/3 throttle and it cuts out unless you out the choke on. I'm basically here to see if anything is improperly assembled in the carburetor. Otherwise I'm just going to have to try a larger main jet. The engine has been recently rebuilt with an oversize piston.

I've not yet ever cleaned my own carb on any machine. I want to learn and do this. because half of my machines need it and next to new fuel, oil, filter and spark plug I feel it's the #1 thing the old machines need to run great.

GO TO WORK I THAUGHT WITH ALL THE ATC THE COTTAGE LAKE FRONT PROPERTY WITH THE GULF FUEL SIGNS AND PUMPS THAT YOU WERE A MILLIONARE WITH TIES INTO THE FUEL BUISNESS AND DIDNT HAVE TO WORK LOL

Another method ( that I learned on YouTube ) is putting a Q tip in a drill to clean the needle seat. Very interesting video ! 👍🙂

Carb Schmuttz is always a killer.... frame schmuttz is a savior.... I have mixed feelings about it.. gotta get me some J.I.S. screw drivers
