New health record app launched

Australians will be able to securely view their health information through a new application that has recently launched.

The ‘My Health Record’ app can store information about vaccinations, hospital visits and pathology results.

My Health Record is not new. The app might be but it has been in our My Gov accounts for years. In case people don't know - even if you don't want it you have one.... 😥

It doesn't matter how secure the back end is (and I'd think twice about assuming it is flawless), if your phone is compromised then all of your medical records will end up in the hands of hackers.
