Can Antonio Conte's Tottenham spend in January?

Tottenham announced their financial results recently and whilst the headline figures may have seemed depressing, can new manager Antonio Conte spend to improve the club’s chances of winning a trophy?

Feel sorry for Everton, they completely missed the boat, if I'm not mistaken Everton are amongst the highest spenders In the last 10 years but they never managed to get any European football like spurs. Those 2/3 seasons spurs got into the champs league and didn't spend any money has really helped them now.

One of the things I love most about Spurs is how we've grown so organically. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if we were bought out by oil barons.

I'm a Spurs supporter.
I'm happy to see Newcastle getting financial support like they deserve, it's a shame it is coming from a disgusting country in terms of human rights and abuses but most money is dirty these days (the banking sector is the perfect example of how heavily the system benefits those with money and severely hampers the opportunities of those without) so I can't hold it against their supporters. I'll never accept their owners though and I would have liked to see a bit more disgust from my Geordie friends, any disgust would have been nice but I've seen none, it's changed my opinion on many of my friends.

They'll spend. Conte and good players + new good players (from good financial position) = Better financial position from better performance (seems now is optimal time to roll dice on better performance after the building and a world class manager and good players basis).
