Prices should be in dollars, GBP, and lira with the exchange rate at the beginning. The floating exchange rates and inflation mean the prices will be out of date very quickly.

Went to alanya in august 2024 it was really expensive almost doubled up in prices especially food

These are not good prices....im kinda shocked how expensive turkey has become... was going to take my mum for her 70th next year but with those prices ill have to look elsewhere...
In regard to the clothes there will always be shops with lower prices then others but there is a quality issue to take into consideration... i know they are fake but there are also different tiers of quality in fakes.

No country on earth is more expensive today than Turkey. The inflation has gone to the roof.

I been to turkey two weeks ago and nothing changed since the last five years, it even get worse this time.

Countries like Malaysia, Thailand and neighbouring countries are much cheaper

Istanbul is very expensive as is every capital city and you often get ripped off. I have been going to Turkiye for a number of years now and it is getting more expensive as well as less friendly. Even the Migros (a supermarket chain) isn't as cheap as it once was.
