Incredibly useful, particularly the need to keep the bottle horizontal. TVM!

“Never force feed a baby” literally what the midwives at Peterborough City Hospital were doing to our baby and making us feel guilty for not managing to force the “recommended” amount of milk down her neck. How is information and action from one NHS trust so different to another?

Why has this all changed now in 2024 ?
Mothers are now told to put a cushion/pillow under the baby & have the head of the baby in front of you near your knees .
That’s Bassetlaw area .

Why though do mothers breastfeed boys less? When her daughter is born a mother will practically destroy herself to breastfeed her but when her son is born formula seems perfectly acceptable of a sudden. Its mad!
