My Fanatec DD1 has locked up on me 3 or 4 times during various time trials/tests but, thankfully, never during a live race! It's VERY jolting/disorienting when it happens!!

Wasn't you, wasn't fanatec either. GT7 Autoplay was the culprit

Rory, you need to do a video of starting a race from 1st, disconnect the controller, let autopilot do the race (Race B will be best, no pit stop needed) and see if the autopilot can finish higher than last.

It's a sever problem imo usually rare but it seems to rarely occur in single player mode 🤔 happens more frequently when server connections are not in green bars. Gt7 or psn stops getting info from wheel settings and loses some level or set of functions. Some say it happens with other wheel brands so ?

It's definitely a big. It's not the shaft disconnect problem. Turning it off and on wouldn't fix the clamp shaft issue
