each and every time I watch this movie, I wonder how and why L. Dicaprio never received any oscar for all his roles... He's such a brilliant actor.

I love how there's basically 2 interpretations of the plot. Either Teddy is right and the doctors are manipulating him into thinking he's insane so they can keep him on the island and run experiments on him, or he actually is insane and the doctors are genuinely trying to help him through elaborate role-play. The ending makes it seem the latter scenario is much more likely, but there's little details throughout the movie that suggest the doctors really are much more sinister than they make themselves out to be. It really makes you scrutinize and question every scene upon re watching. This is definitely a movie you have to see multiple times to fully appreciate.
