I've had this most of my adult life. My PCP did diagnose venous insufficiency. But, several years on, I was fortunate to see a vascular surgeon that worked closely with a doctor-researcher that specialized in lymphedema. By the time I saw him I had become convinced I had lymphedema instead with co-morbidity of lipidema. This doctor ordered Doppler imaging of my veins. Twice. He said my veins were fine with a little damage normal in someone of my age. He made the diagnosis of... lymphedema and lipidema.

My friend has this and he thinks he is fine. He is not open to getting it looked at (yet). We have a high quality vibration plate he could maybe stand on, slightly bending his knees..does this help this condition at all?

Just last week I self-diagnosed myself with this condition. I've had this condition since 2016 after completing radiation treatment and have had appointments with vascular, pcp, physical therapist, dermatologists and etc. I was always told it was lymphedema. I'm a woman of color my ankles and feet look as if I have on a pair of black socks. Are there any treatments to reverse the skin discoloration?

So, how to prevent or help it to repair and heal? No one gives an answer for that and I know it can be healed.

Is it curable? Like can it completely go away?

I don’t have lymphedema, tiny bit of swelling at the ankles, after working on my feet. But red burning rash around my ankles and on my calves. Compression stockings make it worse

I asked my doc about it, he looken uninterested on my legs from his dess and said it looken fine. Luckily I know better and seeing my lymphmassagefriend for help...diss nowadays is not worth asking, they kniw almost nothing, maybe if you find an old one.

I dnt have swelling but they r just the causes my legs dryness 😢😢😢
