Decent perk guide overall, I would make the following notes:
1. I think you are undervaluing Increase Game Speed, it is has 3 main benefits for prioritizing over straight Coins.
a) It gives a higher effective boost to Coins (Game Speed increases by 20% as a default compared to 15% for Coins), the gap closes as you increase Standard Perk Bonus, but it is still a coin increase that is multiplicative with the Coin bonus.
b) It increases game speed which effectively allows you to get perks quicker, so it functions almost like Perk Wave Requirement.
c) It only has one copy of the perk, so getting it before Coins lessens the pool of overall perks to get.

2. I think Unlocking a random ultimate weapon can actually be more powerful than you think. Specifically Golden Tower and Death Wave are ultimate weapons that are powerful without labs. While most players will have Golden Tower, many still don't have Death Wave. In your case, getting Death Wave early in a run can give you 5x health, which can greatly increase a farming run.

3. I think Health Regen can actually be an incredibly viable perk and workshop to upgrade IF you have Wormhole Redirector. Even at the Epic version, it can give you an effective 4.875x health when you get Max Recovery maxed out in a run. On top of that, the Health Regen perks have a much higher multiplier. Before I got The Wall, I was using health regen perks (including the tradeoff perk) with Wormhole Redirector and getting significantly further in runs. I know it greatly depends on your other progression.

It's better to ban trade perks that can kill your game (like -60%, 70% health or no cash per kill) than standard perks that can't do anything wrong. To be forced to take 5 useless perks is far better than being forced to take one of those in my opinion

without ld player id have quit barely even unlocking tier 3. Took your advice and just having the auto clicks to allow me to play it truly idle has taken me many tiers forward. You are right, I have no idea how newbies truly handle early game past a certain point.

For the event missions that require an ultimate weapon.
On your lowest battle teir
Set your first pick as ultimate weapon.
Continue to pick the ultimate weapon upgrade until you get the one required for your event mission.
Then go for longevity(highest lvl to complete the mission.

BIG QUESTION: I tried doing a tier 1 run & not touching my phone. By morning, I had 5.79B health (BILLION), & 5.70M damage from maxed auto upgrades. WHAT HAPPENED? I don't get near that much from manual + auto. I don't have auto perks. Does forgoing perks give you a boost? I have screenshots! I want to repeat this (but I can't stop clicking, & I respecked my workshop to get rid of death defy as a money pit.) I was only at wave 3002, & for the 1st time. I simply wanted to see what ny death wave would be when my base workshop damage & auto upgrades failed. This was super cool!

What are all the best ways to automate so I can run it overnight & throughout the day on my phone?

I love this game. It brought back my childhood & gave me a new take on higher building games as an adult. I love using my brain! I love the life lessons hidden in this gem of a game. It's actually helped shape me and my views and even relatioships, & helped with my PTSD & anxiety issues, too.

If I can automate better, I can relax more & share my leisure better.
