Monokai Pro is absolutely gorgeous (Filter Octagon and Filter Spectrum in particular) and has been absolutely worth the $10 for me personally. Looks amazing with IBM Plex font.

For free themes, the recommendations of Night Owl and Cobalt2 are both good, one other that I REALLY like and has a ton of variants in it is Bearded Theme (great icons as well)

I cannot think of how many searches I've done without success to get exactly this kind of cursive font, if not for sale. I somehow suspect that perhaps people don't want to share their tricks. God bless your unselfish soul.

Hi Chris, if I want this exact look of your theme and fonts, but WITHOUT the cursive fonts, do i still need this line, "editor.fontLigatures": "'calt', 'ss01'", in json? Sorry I am pretty new to programming. Thank you.

when i comment the code then it applies the italian style and font is still not applied its not old can be old but a bit changed ("editor.fontLigatures": "'calt', 'ss01'" ) added and other line too but for now is commented

I'm still unable to do the font, even after adding tokencolorcustomizations. The code is fully italic. Any solution?

I've bought the Monokai Pro and used the same Cascadia Code but I don't seem to be getting the cursive to show up correctly. For example at 0:44 on line 60 when I type class it is in italics and not cursive. Can't figure out what I'm missing.

Hi chris, I actually installed the font and did the all these things but my font cursive in regular font also how I cursive only for italic :). Thanks
