Then, in early 1991 the, then, CEO (Ratner) gave a speech in which he effectively admitted that their merch was ‘crap’. Well there are no ‘Ratners’ jewellers now - ‘You reap what you sow’.

Honestly, this is nothing compared to what happened to GAME in France a few years ago when it closed. I was working there back at the time and this was utter chaos.

I've been boycotting Gamestop ever since they forced all of my old favorite used/classic game stores to close. Every new thing I learn about this company only reinforces that decision.

After working at Gamestop for almost 2 years, and seeing how crazy Black Friday is there, I'd be happy as hell to have those 10 hours off instead. From my experience, they usually have extra hours anyway because someone was smart enough to quit, and they'd call around to other stores to ask someone else to come in to help.
