Bruh wild these teams are getting back to back 1st picks. The Aces got 3 number 1 picks in a row.

The only WNBA player I'd ever heard of was Caitlin Clark. And now, only a few others only because of their dissing of her. She's not only a great basketball player, she seems like a really grounded, great person as well.

The WNBA #1 picks have less flops than the nba

I'm annoyed that you can't pronounce their names.

I don't watch wnba much until this year
But base on your information, once a team draft a number 1 pick that can bring them a championship, seem so easy and sound to me all number 1 draft became super stars😅

Why almost all of their 1st picks got very succesfull in their careers, while in the nba many 1st picks were busts

It's interesting how it seems there were no #1 bust in the WNBA, and most of the time the #1 pick was indeed the best player of her draft. It might be explained by several factors: longer stays at university, fewer international players, smaller field to select from, "smaller world" overall in women's basketball.
In the meantime, in the NBA, despite it becoming better at drafting since the 2010s I would say, at least half the drafts have seen the #1 pick not being the best player (2010, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018. I would put 2011 and 2015 as debatable. I would put 2019-2024 as too soon to call, even though 2023 is clear and 2022 and 2020 seem to have seen the right pick go at #1 too)

Maya Moore could have been the goat before Clark if she didnt retire early.

WNBA #1 is typically more of a safe bet it seems. Makes it worse for Dallas.

How do some teams get so many number one picks when they win the league?

It's refreshing seeing their respect and appreciation for Caitlyn, including her fans. Like Nancy Liebermann said, CC is to be celebrated, not hated on or tolerated. After all, she's going to make many of them multi- milliobaires one day.

How is it decided what team gets the first pick? The aces/stars got 3 in a row from 2017-2019, that doesn’t seem too fair??
