The problem with Sen. Robin Padilla's statement is the nuances it creates in the minds of the public. For instance, if he says Pastor Quiboloy deserves his right to due process, then why can't he advise the religious leader to appear before the Senate and air his side of the story? This, to many, is due process. One can't just simply criticize the government for its faults or failure but decry or evade if called forth to testify about his own faults or failures. Too duplicitous! And thus lacks clarity of thought nor crystal-clear principles!
