This was the worst thing Meredith ever did. I don't blame Amelia for acting like this. I would have reacted the same in her position, probably worse. She didn't even let her say goodbye to her own brother. It's unforgivable.

The fact that Derek told her in the 2nd episode of season 1 that he has 4 sisters and if he was ever in a coma they’d all be there, and he’d WANT them there . She didn’t even call them . . Selfish in Meredith’s part . And I don’t feel bad for her . Amelia 100%

Just because Meredith was the wife did NOT give her the right. She didn't tell anyone. He had a whole family outside Meredith and all she thought about was herself and that's just really sad I was able to hate the main character of a show so much.

I feel for them both. But I know the feeling all too well not being able to say goodbye to your brother. This one hit me hard. And other episodes as well where their patients are siblings. I didn’t realize this show was going to make me cry so much 🥺

Amelia was 100% right. She should have been able to say goodbye to her brother.

She mad a mistake. Meredith doesn’t know how to handle this. She’s been through so many deaths she lost her husband so knows she missed. You can’t blame her she’s bad with family

Shonda wanted it to be a Merder and their kids episode only. So hate Meredith all you want but it is what it is. It's just TV show.
