Always love openSUSE. Been running 15.6 since it was alpha and it's great. Whether it's Leap or Tumbleweed, love Enlightenment, icewm, Sway and Lxqt 2.0 desktops. Many options to match equipment. I share your concerns with ALP but Micro has been solid and if the beautiful, elegant, cutting edge technology of Aeon is any indication, it gives me optimism.

I run Tumbleweed on the desktop and leap on servers. I am looking forward to the addition of Cockpit in 15.6! I would love.ro.know.more.about ALP. I am a bit out of the loop there. Thanks!

I'm considering swapping from Tumbleweed, right now I can't log off, reboot or shutdown properly from KDE and need to use a sudo command. Leap packages are a bit older but I don't mind using Flatpak or Distrobox for anything that I want to be more up to date. The only concern is how openSUSE 16 will be like but I'm sure it'll be fine in the end. Flatpak not being configured for Flathub by default is a bit weird but it might make sense given corporations might want to run their own Flatpak repository (?).

A most helpful video. Thank you. As a leap 15.5 KDE user, I am a little wary of Leap 15.6 KDE but is supported until next December so I will install it. Still a little concerned about the upcoming 'alternatives'? to Leap. I welcome any comments please.

Leap 16 is going to be both immutable and non-immutable.

I will use openSUSE when they put more effort into the desktop look.
You can't just put basic packages together and expect everyone to use it.

I like the web admin interface though!
