A lot of people are dropping full coverage due to the high premium costs. They drive less to decrease the chance of an accident. I dropped full coverage to just the state minimum due to a simple 10 mph over speeding ticket ans was close to just driving without insurance period. So i guess it sucks for whoever i get into an accident with and it sucks for me. But you have to do what you have to do. Thats what the insurance comanies must want.

So get it. My fiancee was hit on motorcycle. Life support for 12 days. Had brain tramua, had to literally learn how to walk again, talk again. Arizona needs to make changes. The girl that hit him was driving on suspended. Then only had mom's liability. It didn't touch the medical bills. This is two big of City, to keep allow this.

In order to get the car you need insurance which the dealership makes sure and transfers plates so he is insured if that's not the case then the dealership insurance is in use as the let them drive off uninsured and not registered. now if they have insurance but not registered still covered for an accident. hope she got it fixed

People say just get full coverage but not everyone has the luxury to pay for that relatively high coverage. These days it’s tough on folks just getting by on state minimum so they won’t get in trouble. I however got lucky and have full coverage for $140 a month so it’s possible but not for everyone unfortunately.

In some States it is automatic: You buy liability insurance and you also get the same limit for uninsured motorist collision. That even covers you if you are hit while walking on the sidewalk, by an uninsured driver. Of course, you cannot buy it to protect you if you don't have a car. That's because persons who don't have a car don't matter.

I just got into an accident with no insurance. The was going through intersection as light turned yellow and the other car turned and we collided. Not sure who was at fault, but I'm sure I'll be getting papers soon. Will probably have to file bankruptcy at the young age of 22!

I do find it hilarious that you're doing this story now because back in 1998 when my daughter and I were rear-ended by an illegal with no driver's license, no insurance and who committed a hit and run and ran away you weren't interested in that story! You should be able to comp something like sell their car or take their house or sell what ever they have of worth. If none of that is available then they become a slave
