SonicWall - First Time Setup

In this video, I go over how to set up a SonicWall device for the first time. I use a TZ270 in this video, but the steps can apply to almost any new TZ or NSA series SonicWall.

I cover the registration and setup basics, as well as the typical baseline configuration I use. This includes security services, zones, network settings, and device-specific admin settings.

I want to say - you have good narration - and your explanations are great. I did feel myself wanting more explanation E.g. as it pertains to SonicWall subinterfaces...what you meant by dedicated interfaces are preferred and why. Overall though a solid video!! Sorely needed because Sonicwall University sucks a bag of ....you know. Also yes - the DNS not inheriting from SonicWalls DNS settings (which they claim it does) 100% has to be a bug.

I really like yours videos, except this one :), everything that has licences or subscriptions on Networking, I'm simple not interest, I like to buy network equipment, not renting it, having said that, thanks for posting so I can add another company to my long list that I just can skip every time I hear anything about them, is always useful and saves a lot of time.
