Sonicwall NSa 2700 - Quick overview

This video is about the new NSa 2700 replacing the NSa 2650. As most of my previous firewall overview, we will look at it on every angle, talk performance, sizing, compare it with its predecessor, new firmware and talk configuration migration.

Great video JP! I am about migrating 2650 to 2700. We use about 20 site to site VPNs, and have about 10 employees working remotely (in addition to the traffic from the central office (X0) with approximately 20 users.).
I'm not sure about using the migration utility because the vendor recommended it's better to do it manually from scratch. This means defining all interfaces, all objects, all rules, all VPNs... and as you know, this is hard work. If I had to do it this way, no problem, I'd do it, but I'd love to hear your opinion on the migration tool from NSA2650 to NSA2700.

Just used the migration tool, we are upgrading from an nsa 2650 to the 2700. I used the tool and have pushed it to the new firewall when it trys to install the .exp file i get network error. It reboots the 2700 and i have to factory reset it via the pin hole! any ideas?

Good Jean thanks for your videos has been very. helpful currently i have a 2650 and i am not sure if i need to wait until the next model based on the date of your video 2700 is 2 years old. Do you have any recommendations? I have max 35 employees and this year i am moving to AZURE. I already set a site-to-site connection using one of your video.

Hi, I have NSa2400, I want to upgrade to NSa 2700 I want to know will the backup configuration from NSa 2400 will work in NSa 2700 ?

Hi JP. My company currently has an NSA3650 and I am looking to upgrade that. We currently have just a handful of IPSEC tunnels and 150 employees working remotely (using global VPN client) but in the near future, I can see us transitioning to 50 in the office and 100 working remotely. What would you recommend? NSA2700 or NSA3700?

My team and I have had many CPU processing problems with 8, 000 connections, the CPU rises to 80% and then we start to have communication losses, does anyone else have the same thing?

We have NSA 2600 and using for web filtering . We are looking for it' Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite for NSA 2600 . Please let me it' price because NSA2600 is no more on the site .
