I saw both vehicles at the LA Auto Show. Hands down the Ariya is much nicer looking vehicle. I love it so much that I placed a $500 deposit for the Ariya. My build is $49, 000 without the Pro Pilot 2.0

This is the best comparison clip I've ever seen, I was hesitating between Solterra and Ariya, mostly because I don't know much about them. Now it's clear to me that Ariya is way much better in terms of interior design, however the price and size is the downside.
If Subaru let Toyota use Eyesight on BZ4X, than there lied almost do difference between Solterra and BZ4X.

Sad there is no "real" electrical wagon announced yet (yes, I know MG5, but this car just don't like to be designed from scratch a modern electric vehicle, yes, I know space vizzion but there is no solid plan for market launch). I prefer station wagon over SUV.

I would like to drive a sedan, to be honest. As for these two, the Ariya looks more appealing. I do, however, understand Toyota's approach. Build a RAV4ish looking EV and add some Subaru technology for the AWD. Makes perfect business sense. I think I like the Ioniq 5 and EV6 better than both, however. Well, maybe with the Ariya. I like that Nissan didn't make it based off of anything else they make.

The Toyota appears to be slow in charging which is a big problem in my opinion.

I would like to see a comparison of the BZ4X and Ariya to the Ioniq 5. An excellent comparison between the BZ4X and the Ariya.

I’m hoping we get an EV6, but the wife may override me and choose one of these due to the higher ride height.

Both are ridiculously expensive, I personally like the design of the Toyota better.

The larger of the Ariya batteries are closer to Toyota so we’ll use that!?

Ariya small = 72-63 = 9 kWh
Ariya large = 87-72 = 15 kWh

I must have missed the larger or smaller day at school 🙄

Anyway, Toyota looks better, is better engineered, looks better quality. IMHO 😁

I want to buy another EV this year, but I would buy neither. Tesla (all of them), Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 are all more advanced and better values. I know Toyota management doesn't like BEVs, but I can't understand why Nissan has allowed themselves to fall behind.
