It seems OpenAI is trying to shut the hype around Llama 3.1, it's likely they will not release this feature soon.

If they are trying to compete perplexity then they should also be ready for competing the bearing ability of perplexity team for eligations of illegal scrapping and bypassing the robot.txt.

I think Perplexity just needs to focus on its features and later on develop the UI more

Yea bro, Gemini is very annoying. I only pay for it because I get 2TB of Drive space and I use the flash API for some things mainly testing agentic systems. Thanks for the video man!

Hopefully they vet the sources better than Perplexity. I've gotten results based on arguments that happened on tech forums over 15 years ago. Both sides were presented in the argument but Perplexity only used information that it was aligned with to support it's own bias.

I totally agree with everything you are saying but I don't think that GPT 5 will be a walk in the park.
I really think that the level that GPT 5 will be at, alot of Open Source LLMs will phase out of existence. Just call it Thanos snapping his fingers...
