I think the reason Krang suddenly got angry here is because Shredder mentioned Dimension Z and that's the place where Mr. Ogg (a magical pixie alien) came from in an episode before this one, and Mr. Ogg couldn't defeat the Turtles and also tricked Krang and Shredder giving them the wrong formula for the fuel of the Technodrome

I never realized how funny the villains are in this show. Even though I watched it as a kid.

Other moments I noticed as I'm re-watching;
Rocksteady and Bebop: It ain't easy gettin dinosaurs to obey...Yeah.. All muscle, no brains...
Shredder: [pauses[ I wont say it. It's too easy...

Doesn't help that it was Shredder that designed and built Krang's body. Now why would it need to be wearing red underwear unless he made sure Krang had something to conceal...
