I have a 19.5 h.p Briggs and Stratton o.h.v with a Niki carburetor had to clip the tip of the anti after fire solenoid because it quit working the fuel line has a in line shut off valve

I would not replace the carb. Take it apart and soak it in gumout. Wash it real well, blow out all passeges, reassemble with new gaskets and run it. For the most part all good info. I am a old school mechanic. Rebuild if possible, only replace if you have to. Save your money for the beer when you're done.

My daddy has a Scag Tiger cat with a Kawasaki FH580V engine that would only run in choke. I replaced the carburetor and it’s a little better but will die past halfway. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have a John Deere 314 which is having fuel issues. I replaced coil, condenser, starter, all new fuel system, and carb and it will not fire off normal. It will only fire off starting fluid. It was running ok just really needed a tune so I bought new carb now it won’t do anything even with old carb back on. I need help

Mine is only running when I start with the throttle at the lowest setting. Once it starts I immediately have to turn up the throttle a little bit (putting it on choke will kill it). It runs/sputters for about 30 seconds and dies.

I installed a brand new carburetor. Didn't have a fuel filter so I installed one of those. I emptied the old gas, then put in new gas. I also installed a new spark plug. It only runs when I put cleaner in it (TONS of white smoke coming out).

I have zero turn riding mower. Briggs & Stratton PowerBuilt 9.0HP. Model# 28B707

If you have any ideas please help before I drop tons of money on a new mower. Thank you!

I bought a used pressure washer that would not run, I bought a complete new carb for it for less than 20 bucks and fixed it! It's not worth rebuilding the carb on most of these small engines when replacement carburetors are so cheap...

I run all Deere equipment all with Kawasaki engines. Your content is great and very helpful. I have a 950 with a 27.5 Kawasaki that will run fine for a while then will only run on choke but constantly have to turn choke on and off to keep motor running do you think I should change carb or what is your suggestion. Also thanks again for the content
