I’m 42. Froot Loops have been my favorite cereal since I was a small child. It is also my son‘s favorite cereal. He is 12. To hear this about Froot Loops is all I need to hear and change need to be made. We have been very blessed that Donald Trump has won the election and we have RFK in the cabinet to fix our food. I worked in milk pasteurization plants, cheese processing, beverage processing, ice cream plants, juice processing, beer, wine, cosmetics, pharmaceutical processing plants and after 47 years I can promise you’d be shocked at the stuff that’s added to foods, I’m not even going to say how gross processed lunch meat and hot dogs are made.

What they have removed during the ultra-processing (of what initially began as whole food) is the nutrition and fiber. Why? It has a poor shelf life. The fiber gets pulverized in the process rendering it useless as a nutritional element. They had to replace it with something because it tasted like cardboard. What did they add in to give it flavor? Salt, Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, seed oils and a host of unpronounceable ingredients that are banned from foods in other western countries. The new kid's cereal from General Mills, Kelce Mix, even has TSP, trisodium phosphate, listed as an ingredient. I use TSP to wash my wooden decks. The safety label on the TSP advises the user to wear gloves, eye protection and protect nearby plants. It's nothing personal. It's just business.

My children are grown now, but when I was raising them I had a major issue in the eighties and nineties with processed foods.
