Edit: the Live action fights with Vader(No Disney cause they don’t know how lightsabers work) were servely held back because of the time but MACE WINDU VS PALPATINE had no excuse to be a mediocre ass fight the swing was extremely slow and the overall choreography was horrible. The 2 most built up duelist in the prequel era has an ok fight but I guess everyone is just ok with that. The fighting could have been way better if they had use stuntmen like for Yoda vs Palpatine which is 1000% a better fight and yes Vader is overrated but his live action duels has legitimate reasons why they were slow but has good dialogue. So for the record no I’m really not defending Vader as the best duelist .

Have to agree with most of this video, but there are a few things I’d like to point out:
Firstly, I think that Vader takes combat speed, maybe not by a great margin depending on which version of him you are using, but his early suit self already is described to move faster than any Jedi bar Yoda, and due to his great speed and strength I am more inclined to give the Sith Lord offense and AP as well over Mace.
Also, the scan that shows Vader above Sidious and his other apprentices with a lightsaber is Canon-only as far as I know, but I do agree that he is > Windu in dueling.
And about Windu being < Ventress, I don’t know tbh, maybe ROTS got a bit better if that’s the version you’re using, but that doesn’t change the diff that Vader wins, which is low imo.
Regardless of my opinions and thoughts, I agree that Vader comes out victorious one way or another, and once again, huge props for the edit 👍

These people really don't get that even if Mace was comparable to Sidious in ROTS, so was Anakin. Vader was originally weaker than anakin, but once he got used to his suit and basically dedicated his life to destroying all enemies of the Empire he grew monstrously in power. He may have never reached his full potential, but he was still the most powerful force user in the galaxy. Sidious was constantly growing in power and made himself the nexus of power in the galaxy as Emperor and Vader still believed that he could've taken him down with Luke's help
