My theory: During his nearly 2 decades in the mental institution, Mr. Glass was able to discover the existence of the secret society and even managed to turn several of its members to his side. It totally fits with his established skills of observation and manipulation.

The problem with David having connections with those aliens is that he doesn't burn or melt when water hits him. What his weakness does connect him with is Devil Fruit uses

My favorite theories are where Mr. Glass is so smart he knows he's in a comic, it reminds me of Rick and Morty, and the one which claims that sings and the sixth sense are in the same universe, which I am not a big fan of Sings but if they didn't come to conquer the planet but were just here running test on us, that would explain why they didn't have weapons of mass destruction and how we beat them so easily. which makes me want to watch it again.

The only thing I love about Shyamalan's films are IDEAS. The majority of his movies are not perfect, but still initial ideas which he has are brilliant and can make people to ponder about life itself.

4:30 that is incorrect, i don't know why some people keep getting this wrong. Yes water is David Dunn's and the aliens weakness, but on different levels. The aliens have a hyper allergic reaction to water, hence the acidic like burn. David Dunn because of his denser cellular structure, he weighs a lot more than he looks which in part he sinks to the bottom faster, like when he was a kid and almost drowned to death in the pool. The woman said he sank like a stone.
