I love what you spoke on in your book Syd and Shea... Shea would invest in pieces at a time to warm up the space or to enhance the space. The small details do add up and make a difference. It's not about buying everything you see, but rather choosing what will make an impact.

Never despise small beginnings. And never stop budgeting rather your budget is big or small. Setting a budget keeps you from going into unnecessary debt. It has nothing to do with where you are financially.👍🏾💯

I like it quite a bit, specially the sofa. It's the type of modern design I usually choose for my living room, although I almost always have a preference for leather upholstery designs. My current sofa is an LC3 Sofa from Manhattan Home Design and I really like it. Thanks so much for the review!

I like that sofa! I don’t like that fact that the vase and eucalyptus are strategically hiding the separation of the two cushions, deceptively making it appear as one long cushion, as you’ve said you preferred in other videos. Not trying to sound overly picky, but as an architect, transparency in details is very important to me. Is the full length single cushion an available option?
The room looks great! I’d prefer a more formal (not hand hewn) beam style on the ceiling detail, but beyond that it’s nice transitional mix. I’ve always love the sphere pillows. C&B discontinued them and they were popular (at least in Chicago, that is/was).
