Honestly, this has become one of my favourite MHA openings. It just grew on me so much. For me, season 5 had two very PLUS ULTRA openings

I have only just realized that the whole song pertains to Izuku’s view of both Bakugou and All Might.

The start focuses on Bakugou - as seen when it says - ‘oh hey brother listen!’, and how ‘fate is hardhearted’, linking to how Izuku’s fate was to be Quirkless. But All Might changed that, when he handed Midoriya OFA. It could even be seen as a double meaning from how he wants Bakugou to simply listen to him, but all he does is cloud his mind with confidence and an ever growing ego.

After the ‘carousel’ part, it switches to All Might, as seen in the visuals when his back is replaced with Endeavor’s, (the whole ‘shine you emitted’ implying the golden shine he had) and how he ‘wants to smile’ like him - All Might is known for his smile.

If you really look into each line, you can see a parallel of either Bakugou, All Might, or both of them. I just can’t find time to write it all out in this comment, because the entire first half (the part in the anime) is certainly implying to them both.

I wasn’t really feeling this opening at first but it’s really grown on me the more I’ve listened to it. Especially the carousel part, I just love how that sounds.
