I have a lot of watches, but my day to day and favorite is my cheapest one. A Laco with the B dial, quartz. I had Laco add AR coating and engrave it for me. Quartz is needed for my job, it gets rough sometimes. Wear what you need and like.

I'm a watch enthusiast, and I will admit, I'm a fan of Swatch. I enjoy their straight-to-the-point affordable business model and their styles, but I often times feel ashamed to being them up in online watch communities.

I have this rare ability to make things look better. So buying ultra expensive watch is not needed. I wear a Wenger and people think Omega. I wear a Seiko 5 and people think Rolex.

The better "inluencers" (yep, hate that word, too...right down there with "creatives"...ask how I feel about *that* word, as a photographer) own up about this, as you've done here. For better or worse, however, y'all get put into the role of de facto tastemakers, whether you sought the role out or not. Best advice to give, early-and-often, is "look, listen, but think for yourself."

For me I have a rather weird taste in watches as I am obsessed with Roman numerals, 90% of my watches are Roman dial. I also wore pocket watches a lot despite them being obsolete at this point.

Opinion on The Invicta Grand Diver 3044? I bought it last year for around 200 dollars after working a summer job. It was my first and currently only automatic watch. I don't like Invicta as a brand for their silly marketing and their horrible (with some exceptions including the 1953 imo) designs, but this one stood out to me from the many Rolex "homages" and the monstrous beasts they make.

The flashes of photos with certain words are top tier Sir. I do disagree a little. I don’t have endless money so I enjoy watching reviews from reviewers whom I trust before buying many of my watches. 👍🏼
