Logo History: BBC

Thought I'd do this for the BBC which turns 100 this year!

NOTE: BBC did not use an official logo until 1958.

The first BBC logo is on the floor of the entrance hall at the Broadcasting House situated in central London between Oxford Street and Regents Park, adjacent to John Nash's All Souls' Church and is Grade II* listed. I took the tour on this building and the guide showed us this logo that has nothing to do with those we are familiar with. No one knows who created that logo which was not adopted by the BBC. I took a picture of it.

Wow they were ahead of the game interms of having a simple clean design because that is what logos are trying to be. BBC was always simple
