This is kind of a bad explanation of whats called "demand/pull inflation" especially since it doesn't account for the fact that realistically theres also an opportunity cost to the item; maybe 2 of those people might want to start selling shawarma or maybe one needs the money for daycare etc. your example only works in a closed system where only the government and apple exists
