US sounds alarm over North Korean troops training in Russia

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has confirmed reports, and satellite images from South Korea show, that North Korean troops have been sent to Russia for training and could be deployed to Ukraine to aid in Putin's war. NBC’s Keir Simmons reports for TODAY.

thats only 10 days worth of troops. the losses of troops is 1, 400 per day. so 14, 000 troops wont last long.

The Russian officers have a hard time communicating with their own soldiers, communicating in Korean on the front line would be impossible. They’ll use them as “Cannon Fodder”.

Ukraine has established a separate POW compound for surrendering and defecting North Korean soldiers. They have Korean interpreters and Korean food, since they don’t speak Russian or are used to Russian foods.
