Everyone I knew from the 80’s, loved The Price is Right as their favorite Game Show growing up, I grew up in the 80’s, Press Your Luck in the 80’s was my favorite Game Show.

Mark Leinwand I believe would have been the show's highest winner up to that point had he not gotten a Whammy! Mark Leinwand was a $100K+ winner of Tic Tac Dough in 1979-80, and then in November 1983, a few weeks after this episode originally aired, he won the TofC on Tic and won $50K for his favorite charity. He then was a four time Jeopardy! champion in 1985 but  did not win in the 1986 TofC.
