Unexplained ghostly encounters haunt officers at training facility

The Honolulu Police Department's Ke Kula Maka'i Training Facility in Waipahu opened in 1988 and has been the sight of many unexplained ghostly encounters.

Did a long term care placement in one of the largest nursing home centres in Canada. One of my patients I was checking on before lunch was talking to herself whilst seated and suddenly started breaking down into tears; saying that her father came to visit her today, and that he’s taking her home later. She’s a dementia patient so I’m used to common nonsensical talk. I get her ready and walk with her to the dining room and think nothing of it. We usually left around 1pm as we did only 6 hours at the time. I came back the next week on the scheduled day and noticed she wasn’t there, I asked the RPN on the floor at the time if she was transferred to the hospital or out for treatment; turns out she passed away in her sleep the night we left and was discovered the following morning. Could be a coincidence, who knows. But that didn’t always sit right with me.

I've seen a spirit before. The night my ex passed away over 100 miles from us. I woke up about 11pm and watched him walk from one side of my beds foot board to the other. He died in pain from cancer. But I felt relieved and that he was at peace. The next morning my 9 year old son that I had with my ex told me, "ma, I saw my daddy last night." Freaky but I've always believed!!!

Eleven years ago when I was in the midst of an illness and in ICU I told my older sister I saw Auntie Mary. My parents never had a sibling named Mary so my sister went to the Department of Health archives and pulled up obituaries of our ohana. The results shook her to the core when she discovered that our mother (rip) had an older sister pass away before she was born. This child took me to the other side and I came back when my older brother repeatedly said that "I had to return."

Things like this are very real. Infact I have my own story... It was in the night, 24th of December 2009. Cousins and extended family were over at our home to celebrate Christmas (day early because on the 25th, most were celebrating within their own home or at another event). So at around 7-8:30pm we took family photos and videos, everyone was in the living room (I mean everyone). We all saw someone down the hallway crossing from the kitchen to the bathroom. At first most of us thought nothing of it but later that night at 10pm when one of my aunties was looking through her tapes, she had recorded an apparition. Everyone else on the tape looked clear because we were all in a brightly lit room but the person who wasn't actually physically there was abit dark and blurred. Guess who it was?.. our deceased great grandfather. When I saw the tape through her camera it felt like a cold knife pierced my heart. Don't know how to describe it, felt chills throughout my neck and spine and I felt very uneasy. Just thinking about the blank expressionless look on his face..man it gives me the creeps till this day.

I dont know about Ghost, but i saw 2 angels one night on the Motorway that woke me up before i crashed. I feel asleep around 1.15 in the morning driving home from London on the M40. I was traveling around 70mph in the Middle lane and there were no other cars on the road. I felt sp tired i could not keep my eyes open. I just went and beofre i know 2 angels swooped either side of me and woke me up. I rammed the window down to get some air wake me up. I could not believe i had actually feel asleep. i was mad with myself, then suddenly realised what had just happened and i saw. They are real for sure.

I believe it though. My husband was about to go into surgery. I was sitting with him when a young nurse walked in to get him ready. I told my husband not to worry because our 20 son (who had been murdered) was with him..in that very instant a light came on from above. The nurse looked shocked and said.. "That's weird"..."That light was only to come on during emergencies. I told the nurse what I meant by "Jacob" is with you. She said, "oh I believe it" and went on to tell us all the strange and unexplainable things that have happened there at the hospital.

I myself dont believe in ghosts and other myths. But when I moved to a new home with my parents. It was a small house with one bedroom kitchen hall and bathroom. You can literally see every other room from whichever room you are standing if the door is not closed. The previous tenants told their daughter has been attacked by some muni(Which is a dwarfy looking demon) I said to my mom that I dont believe in stuffs like that and the rent is cheap the house owner is sweet that she actually warned us about the previous tenant's belief and so we moved in. But every night I felt like someone was watching me. After the first day I locked the house and checked every luke and corner before going to bed and the windows were all closed due to heavy breeze as the house is river side. We dont have any loft or crawl space in the house. But I couldnt shake the feeling. The very mext week the house owner who lived downstairs said she feels the same to my mom. I Never told anyone about my fear. But the house owner after her own encounter called a psychic and he told her that the muni doesnt have the way to leave the house. So you have to put a small hole above the house front door. My mom didnt want it but I said let the house owner get the satisfaction while inside I needed it too. The psychic also told the muni's target will have some physical illness for a week after the hole is put. The very next day I got typhoid and was hospitalised for a week. When I went back home it was calm and peaceful and I no longer felt someone was watching me. I still now dont know whether It was my mind or was it really there....
