2019 Ford Mustang GT Performance Package Level 2 (PP2) - Atlanta Motorsports Park Track Day -

A full session from SCCA Track Night in America at Atlanta Motorsports Park. It was my first track day with the car so I was going just fast enough to have fun. I slow down a few times to let the car cool down some and/or create a gap to the car ahead of me (there was almost never anyone behind me).

The car is a 2019 Ford Mustang GT with Performance Package Level 2. It's excellent on a road course, but I was having frequent issues with getting locked out of gear sometimes. Apparently that's a common issue that can be fixed with a shifter bracket. But all I had to do for track day prep was change oil (Motul 5w30 full synthetic) and run 75w140 rear axle oil to keep the diff from overheating, which is a big problem on these cars as well. Brakes were all stock (it comes with DOT 4 LV brake fluid from the factory) and the pedal never went soft.

Note: the tires used were not the original Michein Cup 2s that came with the PP2 Mustangs. Keep those tires long enough for a first track day and it would be even quicker than this.

what kind of camber are you running front and rear?

I buy one if it came with a rear diff cooler like the GT350 has. But my heart/soul wants that flat plane crank sound that the GT350 has. Plus the oil coolers.
