I just test drove this car today....holy shit! 3rd gear 140km and felt like it was only 100. Shifts awesome. Sounds amazing! Dirty roads and it only kicked out a hair before it hooked and took off. It’s going in my garage this week.

I agree Raiti. A standard transmission is the only way to go when you drive one of those wonderful mustangs. The enjoyment is so much better. Keep up the good work!

I test drove a 2018 Mustang GT 10A PP1 and it was amazing, almost jumped the gun and bought one. But I think anyone thinking on buying a 2019 should wait for the 2021 model, its just around the corner.

The 2018+ GT's power numbers are under-rated by Ford. The actual numbers at the crank are closer to 485+ hp and 450+ ft lb, or 50+rwhp and 50+ rw-trq). Despite this, the 2018+ manuals aren't much faster than the 2015-2017 manuals due to the way Ford changed the individual gears for 2018+ GT's. Not only did they make 4th the 1:1 ratio and 5th and 6th overdrive, they also made each individual gear taller. As a result the 'gear reduction values' (individual gear ratio * final drive ratio) for each gear on a 2018+ GT with 3.73 gears are still lower than a 2015-2017 GT with 3.31 gears. Here are the numbers for comparison. :)
