Being born in the 70’s, I never thought I would be able to get into any new artist. I’m old fashioned and thought this new age shit …. Nah lol I grew up listening to Hank, Waylon, Johnny, Willie, George, even some Black Sabbath, AC DC, Led Zeppelin… a cocktail of sorts.. I’m a lover of all music. Glad my son made me go see Billy Strings. Lol I’ve seen him 7 times now. So refreshing to have a new talent, that’s so awesome.

He just keeps getting better and better. When he does a cover it is always of some truly great tune and he always is able to add some of his unique magic to it. I would love to see Billy Strings and Sierra Ferrell do a duets album in the spirit of Loretta Lynn/ Conway Twitty or Tammy Wynette/ George Jones or Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell. Both have eclectic taste and both are unique artists that are at the top of their game

Listening to Billy Strings makes one want to practice more, even knowing you'll never be good enough to carry his guitar case, but you gotta try! I know Bluegrass aficionados claim Billy's not really bluegrass, but he's the first to get me to listen to a lot more from that genera! Keep it up brother, you're touching lives!
