I've actually learned over time that streaming on Twitch does have a good amount of fun and moments. But even so I would strongly suggest sticking to making YouTube videos until your big enough to start streaming. Had to learn that the hard way.

I like the editing of the thumbnail in the background. So cool. You’re so smart

Good advice. I mainly use You Tube to post shorts and direct them to my Twitch Channel.

I would add that there are certain interactive things you can use with twitch that are not available on any other platform just yet as well. Other platforms are starting to add some but twitch definitely has the lions share for now.

The hardest thing I find about having any channel be it on YouTube, Kick, Twitch or whatever is AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT. I keep on asking questions but nobody is answering. It feels like screaming into a void sometimes, honestly. My funds are limited so I can't pay for support at the moment and I make do with what I have. I create my own thumbnails, I experiment with AI art to make better thumbnails and photoshop for the titles. I have a lot to learn I know this but the process is so slow sometimes. It grows so slowly that's for sure. Happy to accept any tips or advice. - A

This was very informative, thank you. A little too fast for me to actually retain the information lol but very well executed overall.

There is one thing you did not talk about that is a big plus for youtube, the vods . When a stream is down on twitch its more or less dead content, but a youtube vod will live as long as there is a platform.
But I guess this depends alot of what kind of games you play.

Whats your thoughts on multi stream, why not stream all platforms all at the same time?

I don’t understand the part “if you try to stream from a successful channel it’ll kill the channel’s reach”. What does it mean? Why?

Captions were distracting sometimes, but the video was amazing overall, nice

I hear you BUT even after this video I think you should stream on YouTube AT THE BEGINNING of your Livestream journey and then after you should switch to Twitch or some other plaftorm.

Youtube Streaming may gain you lots of views and subs in Shorts Youtube Streaming…. But the revenue shorts live is very small, Like $1 per 100k views.

So, Twitch is the best platform for beginners who don't have much reach, right? And creating a separate channel on YouTube just for shorts to gain more reach and bring those viewers to my Twitch stream is a good idea, right? For video projects (e.g., recordings from my Twitch livestream), should I also create a separate YouTube channel?

Good info, but far too rapidly presented. Hard to keep up.
