The 'Urban Cowboy' | Roadster Shop Legend Series build #004 | 1976 Chevy C10 | Details and Drive!

On the road with Jeremy in the most recently completed 'Legend Series' build #004: the 'Urban Cowboy'. A 1976 Chevy C10 pickup built as the first 'full' Legend Series turn key package.

Where prior Legend Builds were completed in the 'Survivor Series' style (original factory paint, glass, trim etc), this '76 stands apart with brand new paint and bodywork, trim and full Avant Garde interior treatment. As always, these builds utilize our full Legend Series chassis platform (see link below), this one with a 455HP LT1 motor and 8L90 transmission

A host of other custom details refine the fit, finish and subtle modernization taking the vintage squarebody package to a whole new level for the decades and miles to come.

9:09 what us tall guys need is the front of the seat to be raised so we have thigh support. I had to do that to all my squares that had stock bench seats in them. I raised the rear 2" and the front 3.5" then It stopped hurting my hips to drive them long distance.

My great grandfather bought a brand new 79 C10 back in the day. It’s never left the family and I’m the 4th generation to have it. My plan is to LS swap it and travel the country with my wife some day.

I saw this at Sema, the interior and those wheels entire combination just I fell in love with. I said to many I still say this now of all the cars I saw at Sema this last year this is the one I would take home.

This thing is awesome. My dad had one, RWD, black and gray. I remember sitting in the floor, messing with his CB radio and listening to George Straight on the radio. Memories man. This build is one of the nicest I have ever seen. Great job.

High school classmate had one of these back in the late 70s! Had the 455hp motor! Same color and interior! Nice truck back then and a nice truck now! Was still into the muscle cars back then, had a 68 charger in the late 70s but would love to have a truck like that now!! We both hung out at a bar that had the mechanical bulls when urban cowboy was big in the theaters! Thanks for bringing back the memories brother!!!
