Notice how in their first fight, Jordan withstood a direct punch from Sam without difficulty and absorbed the impact. In this, Sam flings him away like nothing.

i dont blame sam for wanting to kill her *at all* . Her knowing sam was locked up and helping him stay locked up, and mindcontrolling luke into thinking sam was dead so he wouldn't be able to break sam free was nothing short of evil, but we should keep in mind that she was being manipulated by shetty, and she sort of became a surrogate-mother figure to cate after her biological mother treated her like a monster. so, cate craving any sort of parental connection, would obviously not want to break a bond like that with shetty, and was willing to backstab her friends so she wouldn't feel that kind of pain again.

Sam is stronger than Jordan but Jordan’s powers are indestructibility. That means in the male form they can take what seems like catastrophic damage but It doesn’t stop someone like Sam from tossing them. It’s not a plothole that Sam could toss Jordan. Sam can hit them and toss them around Sam just can’t injure them in any lasting way.

Also there is some accounting for the fact that Sam rushed Cate and they were all surprised. Sam is the strongest but none of them were on top of their game in that scenario.
